Our fourth grade students created artwork inspired by Callie the tiger from the Great Plains Zoo. The project focused on using art to honor and remember animals while learning about the different purposes of art.
Shout out to Sra. VanRavenswaay for guiding our students through this meaningful project!

We will be hosting the 20th Annual Project Warm-Up on Saturday, Dec 13th, 11am- 3pm. Come join the biggest blanket-making party around!
Did you know that there are currently almost 800 students classified as homeless in the Sioux Falls School District? This means they are living in a situation that is not meant to be permanent housing. Some are living in shelters, motels, doubled-up with other families, in cars, and worse. Many of these kids rely on school to provide two nutritional meals, 7 hours of heat, and safety. We want to make sure each of these students has a new fleece blanket to take home before the long winter break from school. Will you consider helping?
Volunteers are needed to make blankets! Join us on Saturday or host a blanket-making party of your own.
Donations of fleece and funds are needed. Please consider making a donation today!
Because of our generous volunteers, we have been able to provide 43,000 blankets to children and families in need over the past 19 years!! WOW!!
